I used short strokes through my Golden Retriever's chest and the comb moved through the fluffy areas without a lot of tugging. The handle stayed comfortable in my hand.
This picked up a useful amount of loose coat from my poodle during our regular grooming session. My dog stayed calmer when I worked in small sections.
